as with any other group - most people here are concerned about what i will call "the immediate life" and there is only so many of us who can and are willing participate in "bosnia" conversation. so, if oyu check "la nightlife" type of forum (and since i live in la, that's what i can sort of connect to, there is a zilion people discussing the nuances of lemon drop martinis.

i mean, even the moderator here never says anything, why would you expect anyone else...?
